You have the opportunity to help the Judaica Library receive a match from the National Endowment for the Humanities toward building a new endowment. The Libraries have received a prestigious National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant worth up to $500,000 to build an endowment fund that will broaden access to humanities resources relating to the Jewish experience in Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Our challenge is to raise $1.5 million in matching funds. This will strengthen and provide greater emphasis on the conjunction of three of our preeminent collections, the Isser and Rae Price Library of Judaica, the Latin American and Caribbean Collection, and the P.K. Yonge Library of Florida History. Many disciplines at the University of Florida will benefit from the acquisitions, digital collections, outreach programs and research provided by this endowment. Every donation will help the Libraries meet our goal and you can help!
Should you choose to help build this endowment, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your dollars are being multiplied with the matching funds.
